My Experience and Advice

I chose to do a chemistry EE, an it was a very difficult process due to problems with my experiment. I believe that if I was more prepared for the EE process, it would have been much easier for me to complete the project. Instead, it took me 6 months longer than planned to collect my experimental data, and required a total of 82.5 hours in the lab. Because of this, I’d like to share my advice for the chemistry EE to hopefully help others thinking of a chemistry EE to get a good footing.

Despite my difficulty with the chemistry EE, I still recommend it to anyone who loves chemistry. Although it was difficult, I thoroughly enjoyed my time working on the Chemistry EE.

The number 1 thing that I took away from this was that if you’re not interested in chemistry, don’t do a chemistry EE

It is likely that somewhere along the way you will run into errors in calculations, scientific theory or experimental data. You need passion and determination to get through it.
